So where did this all begin..?
Born in a small county in West Wales, I have always felt different. I was always the one asking ‘Why?’ The Rebel. The one always wanted more and pushing myself for greatness.
For as long as I can remember I’ve been passionate about entrepreneurship and business, always looking at ways I can solve problems, help people AND make money.
I started my voyage to success at the tender age of 16, getting a part time job in a bank. Even then I knew that if I could get my foot on a ladder in a world where there was money, I would have a better chance at ‘making it’.
Then, at the age of 18, not quite knowing what route to take I decided to study Business Management in University, more because it was something to do. I had a passion for business so it kind of made sense. I soon graduated, but then what?
I fell back in the bank and decided to focus my efforts here. After working hard in the bank for 8 and a half years, I knew there was more for me in life, especially after failing to get a promotion and pay rise.
It wasn’t until then that I decided to go all in as an entrepreneur and started a business. As scary as it was, I was done with having my income capped, someone else dictating to me how much I was worth and most of all my freedom restricted. I had to be bold and took a risk to create the life I knew I could have if I just had enough courage.
The deciding factor for me was when I had a car crash driving home from a birthday meal with my 2 sisters in the car. Thankfully we were all ok, but my car was a write off and I had my wake up call
Something had to change because I was deeply unhappy!
I left the bank way before I was financially ready and it required me to sacrifice A LOT, but I knew that if I put my energy in becoming the best at what I did there was no doubt that I would be a success.
After quickly seeing success within my first business things were great and that’s when I had the biggest shock of my life. I found out I was pregnant with my first child at the age of 25.
I continued to grow my business while I was pregnant and I was determined to give my unborn child the best start in life. I worked up until the night before he was born, and when he arrived I made a promise to him that I would do whatever it took to give him an amazing life.
Fast forward 8 months and I was still running the business but I was feeling incredibly lost, unfulfilled and very unhappy. Motherhood had consumed me and I was juggling being a Mum, running my business while also doing my best to support another business. It wasn’t until December 2016 when I had just organised an event for 800 entrepreneurs in central London that enough was enough. That event almost broke me and I knew that for me to gain my happiness and my power back, I had to do something.
My calling was always for business and helping others so that’s when I decided to walk away from my first business and a team of 200 people to pursue my role as a Business Coach & Mentor, I haven’t looked back since!
In my first year I generated 6 figures in revenue, packed out all my programs with ideal clients and built a strong & loyal audience (all while navigating becoming a single Parent). Fast forward to today my business has generated multiple 6 figures and I have scaled my business to a point where I can reach even more people through live events, retreats and digital courses, as well as keeping a very high touch element of mentoring & coaching.
